About

Throughout my career, one question has consistently shaped how I think about organisations:

“How does this organisation really work?”

Whether working with founder-led businesses, Fortune 500 organisations or private equity-backed companies, I found that the organisations making the best decisions were rarely those with the most information. They were the ones that understood themselves most clearly.

How it started

My career has taken me across international operations, supply chains, business transformation and leadership. Along the way I worked with organisations of different sizes, industries and ownership models.

Despite those differences, I kept returning to the same observation.

Organisations rarely struggle because they lack solutions. They struggle because they misunderstand how they really work.

Where that led

That observation gradually became the foundation of my work.

It shaped how I approached leadership, organisational transformation and governance. It eventually led to the development of the Compounded Reality Framework, the publication of The Understanding-Led Leader, and an ongoing body of writing exploring leadership, organisations and executive judgement.

Today

Today I contribute to organisations through board appointments, advisory and organisational thinking.

Whether working alongside a leadership team, contributing around a board table or writing about organisations, my objective remains the same:

“Helping organisations strengthen understanding, improve judgement and build long-term capability.”

Everything else, from strategy, transformation, governance and performance, builds from that foundation.
